In my career, I have written over 700 proposals ranging from proposals worth tens of millions of dollars to small job worth a few thousand. I have a good track record, having won more than half the proposals I have written.
One of my unique skills in that I can be responsible for all parts of a proposal. My technical writing skills allow me to write the technical proposal with the assistance of a subject matter expert. This effort includes developing the proposal outline and messaging, writing the text, and managing the review and editing process.
I also have the skills to prepare the pricing proposal including development of labor, materials, and travel estimates. I have developed billing rates for T&M contracts, indirect rates for cost type contracts, and fixed price bids. I have extensive experience analyzing requests for proposal (RFPs) and coordinating all elements of the proposal to meet the requirements of the RFP.
