I need to make it clear that I am not an attorney, and I certainly recommend that any significant agreements that a company enters into should be reviewed by an attorney. I have worked with a lot of attorneys, and I have found that it is better to send a draft agreement to the attorney. The draft agreement gives the attorney an understanding of the agreement you want to make, and it saves time and billable hours from the attorney.
In my career, I have a great deal of experience preparing business agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, memorandums of understanding, purchase agreements, etc. In most cases, I started with an agreement template, but I have also written agreements from scratch.
